resolution of the bus strike

By the way, the bus strike that I wrote about a while ago lasted 3 days. The government and the bus companies had a meeting and couldn't decide on a resolution. For now, the rates remain at 18 cents a ride, but I've heard that they might go up to 20 cents after the new year. Luckily, there were no violent student protests, and they don't expect any come the new year.
